Customer status, proof, and information emails
Turn on status emails, edit Message Templates, and use the shortcodes Orstrax actually supports.
Customer mail is written in Message Templates and sent according to the status and Status Action you configured.
Status emails
On Statuses, enable customer email for a step when the customer should hear that the order moved. Edit the subject and body for that status in Message Templates.
Proof Review emails
Proof templates can include {proof_link} and {proof_cta} (the Review Your Proof button). Orstrax keeps that call-to-action in the proof email so the customer can open the lookup page with ?proof=.
Request Information emails
Information-request templates can include {info_link} and {info_cta} (Provide Information).
Shortcodes you can use
Templates support values such as {order_number}, {customer_name}, {customer_first_name}, {status}, {due_date}, {public_note}, {tracking_url}, {store_name}, {support_email}, and {order_link}.
Use the public status name for {status} so customers do not see internal labels.
Replies go to your reply-to address, not the Orstrax inbox. Set that under Settings → Email.
