Understanding your initial order import

First-time setup imports about 60 days of Shopify orders so Orstrax is ready without pulling years of history.

The first import brings in Shopify orders created in the last 60 days. That is enough to start working without waiting on a full-history pull.

What is imported

Orstrax copies matching Shopify orders into your workspace, including customer, line items, and notes that Shopify provides. Later syncs keep those orders updated.

What counts toward your plan

Imported history stays in Orstrax. Only Shopify orders created in the current billing period count toward the monthly order allowance shown in Settings → Billing.

Historical orders older than 60 days

Shopify treats older-than-60-day order access as a protected permission. If Shopify has not enabled it for the app, Orstrax cannot import that older history automatically.

After the first import

The dashboard Sync Orders control pulls newer and updated Shopify orders. If a first sync looks slow, product photos for line items are often loading for the first time; later syncs are usually faster.
