Public notes, private notes, and attachments
Add customer-visible notes, internal notes, and files on an order without mixing the two.
Each order can hold notes and files. The difference between public and private notes matters for what the customer sees.
Public notes
Public notes can appear on the customer lookup page and in email when you include {public_note} in a template. Use them for messages the customer should read.
The public note field accepts HTML. On a proof, this is also where you can add a message that goes with the artwork.
Private notes
Private notes stay inside Orstrax. Use them for production details, vendor issues, or anything the customer should not see.
Attachments
Attach files on the order for internal production or for a proof. Proof Review needs a public note or an image before you send the proof to the customer.
Warning: Do not put card numbers, passwords, or other secrets in notes or filenames.
